Příčiny vzniku špalkového kopyta a možnosti terapie
Bartoňová, Eliška
This diploma thesis is about causes of clubfoot in horses and therapy options. The goal was development of theoretical research and observation of development of clubfoot in the pony mare during her therapy. Collected data were evaluated. This thesis has two parts. First, theoretic, draws from many Czech and also foreign sources. Then an overview of causes of clubfoot in horses has been created. In the second, practical part, an observation and documentation of clubfeet of the pony mare was made. This observation lasted three years. Angles of hooves were measured by protractor and the data was evaluated graphically. Then data was evaluated using statistics too. The obtained data shows decreasing trend of angles of both clubfeet. So, we can conclude that effective hoof correction of this pathology is possible.
Musculoskeletal injuries in volleyball players in relation to prevention and regeneration
Vodičková, Sára ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Panská, Šárka (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the most common musculoskeletal injuries of volleyball players of all performance and age groups. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the injuries that the players suffered during training sessions or matches, how serious they are, how they recover and how to prevent their reoccurrence. The theoretical part of the work is mainly focused on the description of the units of the human locomotor system susceptible to injury during the game, following their diagnosis. The practical part of the work deals with the analysis of individual injuries in relation to performance and age groups and preventive and regenerative measures. The method of expert questionnaire survey is used to obtain this data. The obtained data are processed on the basis of the studied Czech and foreign literature and compared with similar studies dealing with the issue of injury rates in relation to prevention and regeneration. The results of the work indicate that the fingers are the most injured part of the musculoskeletal system, and the game specialization most prone to injuries is the post libero. Another finding is the many times greater injury rate among young groups of players and the general lack of preparation for physical activity among most volleyball players, which does...
Physiotherapy of the musculoskeletal disorders in artistic gymnasts
TOMASCHKO, Lukáš
This bachelor thesis deals with disorders of the musculoskeletal system in artistic gymnasts and the possibilities to influence them with physiotherapy. The preparation of artistic gymnasts begins at a very early age when the body is not yet sufficiently developed. Due to early specialisation and excessive load, disorders of the musculoskeletal system may arise. Within physiotherapy, these disorders can be solved and, to some extent, prevented. The aim of the thesis was to find out what disorders of the musculoskeletal system selected artistic gymnasts suffer and to choose appropriate therapy. Other aim was to find out how to prevent frequent functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system in artistic gymnasts. In the theoretical part, artistic gymnastics, its history, the specifics of training and the system of competitions are characterized. Other chapters deal with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their chaining, muscle imbalances, hypermobility, as well as disorders of the musculoskeletal system and injuries in artistic gymnasts, also the theoretical part of used kinesiotherapy methods. In the practical part, examining methods in physiotherapy and obtained data from research are described. The research was attended by 3 artistic gymnasts from Merkur České Budějovice, z.s. team and lasted in the range of 8 therapies. The research was carried out in the form of processing individual case reports, which include anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, proposal of short-term and long-term physiotherapy plan, course of each therapy and output kinesiological analysis. Based on the data obtained, a compensatory exercise was created and processed into a manual. The research showed that in selected gymnasts, disorders most often occurred in the area of the shoulder girdle, the transition of the thoracic and lumbar spine, the lumbar spine, in the area of the ankle joints, as well as the weakening of the deep stabilizing system. This work can be used in the practice of clinical and sports physiotherapists, or to expand the awareness of gymnastics coaches.
The role of physiotherapy in pregnancy
MIXOVÁ, Gabriela
This bachelor thesis deals with the pregnancy and the role of physiotherapy in pain relief of musculoskeletal system during this period. The bachelor thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The goal of the theoretical part is to provide basic information about pregnancy and changes in the reproductive system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, circulatory system and especially changes of musculoskeletal system, which accompany this period. Further in this part there can be found anatomy and kinesiology of the pelvic area, the spine area and the foot area. The theoretical part also deals with suitable and unsuitable physical activities in the pregnancy, principles of exercise during the pregnancy and finally the art deals with physiotherapeutic methods, which can be used in the pregnancy. The goal of the practical part is to assess the effect of the physiotherapy on problem solving of musculoskeletal system in pregnancy. Three pregnant women in the II. - III. trimester were used in the practical part. Women underwent a total of eight therapies 1x in 1 - 2 weeks. The case reports include anamnesis and initial examination. Further in this part there are described individual therapies designed for each respondent individually. An interview with the patient was conducted at the beginning of each therapy. During the interview I was examining what changed since the last meeting. After completion of all therapies an output kinesiological examination was performed and the results of the therapy were evaluated. The pregnant women may use this bachelor thesis for drawing inspiration for pain relief of musculoskeletal system. Further the bachelor thesis could be useful for both professionals and laypersons, who are interested in the issue.
Effects of dance sport in the musculoskeletal system of adult individuals
JANÁČKOVÁ, Iveta
Dance sport is a demanding discipline; to participate in sport dance competitions needs daily training. Injuries and misbalance appear due to a huge strain and many dancers are forced to stop their career prematurely. There is not enough literature about the negative impact of dance sport on the musculoskeletal system available, so I decided to summarize the information. Another problem is an insufficient amount of information about possible compensation and prevention for sport dancers and dance coaches. In the theoretical part of the undergraduate thesis I focused on the description of basic kinesiology and anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, the characteristics of dance sport, and mainly on summarizing the information about the influence of this sport on the musculoskeletal system. The practical part of the undergraduate thesis consists of quality research made on two dance pairs and two non-sporting pairs. I got the necessary information from all participants from kinesiology analysis. I made questionnaires to get and complete the information about the dance pairs´ training. I compared the results with the results of kinesiology analysis of non-sporting pairs and I summarized the information about changes in the musculoskeletal system of dance pairs which might be caused by dance sport. Moreover, I planned compensatory exercises for dance pairs. The results of my research prove many effects on the musculoskeletal system and frequent injuries which might be caused by dance sport. Sport dancers should know about them. The undergraduate thesis can be used especially for sport dancers to provide them information about the possible negative impact of dance sport on the musculoskeletal system. It can also be used as an inspiration for dance sport coaches to include compensatory exercises into their lessons.
